About Us

Troy Cornea was born and raised in the Abacos by missionary parents. At the age of 11 he was sent to Florida to continue his education. After graduation, he attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where in the fall of 1992 he earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. The desire to return to his homeland was more important than a promising engineering career, so in the spring on 1993 he returned to this island paradise.

Troy started Blue Wave Boat Rentals in 1997 at Harbour View Marina. After the devastation of Hurricane Floyd in 1999, he purchased the Marina property, one of the few remaining marinas in operation. Harbour View Marina is one of the few Bahamian owned and operated marinas in Marsh Harbour. Combining excellent service with the facility renovations that were completed in the summer of 2002, Harbour View Marina will be the centerpiece of beautiful Marsh Harbour.
